LINDSAY BATES

Lindsay Bates is a triple threat performer currently based in New York City. In 2024, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting-Musical Theatre Concentration from Wright State University.

 

Lindsay was born and raised in Houston, TX. (Go Astros!) Her first official performance was in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown at nine years old. However, her *unofficial* performances began when she was as young as three by performing the entirety of The Little Mermaid in front of the TV with her first (and favorite) scene partner- her dad. Lindsay began her professional studies at The Humphrey's School of Musical Theater at Theatre Under The Stars at 12 years old, which ignited her strong work ethic from a young age.

Lindsay is passionate about fostering creativity and individuality, especially through dance. She loves all things Fosse and has a soft spot for tap dancing, particularly in Golden Age Hollywood films. When not performing, you can find her enjoying an iced vanilla latte with almond milk, listening to Harry Styles, vintage shopping, or crocheting a cozy sweater!​
